Human beings naturally tend to focus on the struggles we see in ourselves and other people.
And in doing so, I believe we miss something vital.
Because the greater the struggle, the greater the strength.
In a solution-focused session, we ‘flip the coin’ and look at the strengths that may have gone unnoticed.
We celebrate the achievements that may have been missed while the struggles were the main focus of attention.
And we free our minds to see future possibilities differently.
We do all of this while fully acknowledging the struggles: the challenges, the hardships and the disappointments that life may have brought to us.
We find a way to hold both sides of the coin in balance.
And we open up the possibility that, instead of being defined by our struggles, we can be defined by our strengths.
The greater the struggle, the greater the strength
