welcome to phoenixology

Here at phoenixology you’ll find gentle and compassionate IFS (internal family systems) therapy with the following specialisms:

  • Psychologists and therapists who want to explore their own internal family system, connect with their parts and release their burdens so they can live their personal and professional lives to the full
  • Women aged 30+ who don’t yet know what they want, like or need but are ready to let go of perfectionism and people-pleasing to find out who they really are – to find peace, hope and joy and to live their life to the full
  • Parents who would like support for their own mental health and emotional wellbeing, especially those who are late-discovered neurodivergent and/or parenting children or young people who fit a PDA (persistent drive for autonomy/pervasive demand anxiety) profile (no diagnosis needed, self identification welcome)
  • Adults navigating life with chronic illness and/or invisible disabilities, especially chronic fatigue/ME; migraine in all its weird and wonderful forms (silent, vestibular, hemiplegic etc); IBS, etc

You’ll also find stories of my own journey to healing and wholeness through creative arts, video journals and blog posts

Hello!

I’m Naomi, a HCPC psychologist and late-discovered AuDHD woman navigating life as a forty-something mum of two young girls while also managing my own chronic health issues and invisible disabilities.

I’m recovering from burnout, healing from PTSD and parenting a child with additional support needs while finding a path that is full of compassion and creativity.

phoenixology is my story, and phoenixology can be your story too
